Nadhi-SheforClimate is a women-led social enterprise building climate capability, careers, and collaboration across India.
We work at the intersection of climate action and gender inclusion - enabling women (cis, trans, and non-binary) to participate in, and lead, the transition to a sustainable economy.
Our Approach
Nadhi-SherorClimate was launched in February 2024 to address a clear gap - the underrepresentation of women in climate leadership, decision-making, and opportunity pathways.
While women make up a significant part of the workforce, their presence in climate leadership roles remains limited, resulting in missed perspectives, talent, and solutions.
Nadhi was built to respond to this gap - not as a conversation space, but as a platform that creates structured pathways for participation, progression, and leadership in the climate ecosystem
What We Are Building
We are building an ecosystem where women professionals and entrepreneurs are equipped to engage with climate not just as participants, but as decision-makers, founders, and leaders.
This includes enabling access to knowledge, networks, opportunities, and collaborations that translate into real-world outcomes across sectors.

Through city chapters, programs, and partnerships, Nadhi creates consistent entry points into the climate space connecting individuals with mentors, organisations, and opportunities that accelerate both careers and impact.

About the Founder
Shalini Bharat
A seasoned professional with deep expertise in technology, operations, and finance, Shalini has led teams and initiatives across diverse industries. She previously served as COO of Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank India, where she drove operational excellence and strategic growth.
Drawing from her personal journey as a woman navigating the climate sector, she founded Nadhi – SheforClimate, a professional women’s network dedicated to empowering women as influential leaders and decision-makers in climate action.
